Terms of Service | SteadfastSMP

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting to and playing on SteadfastSMP ("the Server"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Server.

If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Server.

2. Description of Service

SteadfastSMP is a free-to-play Minecraft multiplayer server. We provide:

Survival gameplay worlds (Normal and Hard difficulty)
Land claiming and protection systems
Community features and events
Discord community integration

3. User Conduct

You agree to follow our Server Rules at all times. This includes but is not limited to:

Treating all players with respect
Not using hacks, cheats, or exploits
Not griefing or stealing from other players
Keeping chat family-friendly
Not sharing personal information

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Minecraft account while connected to our Server. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your Minecraft account.

5. Virtual Items and Progress

All in-game items, builds, currency, and progress exist only within the Server and have no real-world value. While we strive to maintain your progress indefinitely ("no resets"), we cannot guarantee against data loss due to technical issues, Minecraft updates, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

Server staff reserve the right to:

Warn, mute, kick, or ban players who violate rules
Remove inappropriate builds or content
Modify or remove items obtained through exploits
Make final decisions on all disputes

Ban appeals may be submitted through our Discord server.

7. Donations

SteadfastSMP may accept voluntary donations to help cover server costs. Donations are non-refundable and do not purchase any goods or services. Any perks associated with donations are provided as a thank-you gesture and may be modified or removed at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. SteadfastSMP is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft. Your builds and creations on the Server remain your creative work, but you grant us permission to display them as part of the Server (e.g., on live maps).

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Server available 24/7 but do not guarantee uptime. The Server may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other reasons. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Server at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

SteadfastSMP is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Server, including but not limited to loss of data, progress, or virtual items.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Server after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be announced on our Discord server.
