Why We Need You

SteadfastSMP is growing, and we need friendly, mature players to help welcome new members, answer questions, and keep the community positive.

Staff members are the face of our server. You don't need to be online 24/7, but we're looking for people who genuinely care about making the server a good place to play.

Trusted Member

Most Common Role

Trusted members are the community helpers. You welcome new players, answer questions, and help maintain the friendly atmosphere that makes SteadfastSMP special.

What You'll Do

Welcome new players and help them get started
Answer questions in chat and Discord
Handle minor chat issues (spam, mild toxicity)
Help players recover death chests
Report griefing and serious issues to Moderators

Tools Available

/punish - Escalating warnings and mutes
/kick - Remove disruptive players
/co inspect - Investigate block changes
/tp - Teleport to help players
Death chest recovery commands

Moderator

By Invitation

Moderators handle serious enforcement - griefing rollbacks, bans, harassment cases. This role is offered to Trusted members who've demonstrated good judgment over time.

We don't accept direct applications for Moderator. Prove yourself as Trusted first.

Requirements

Active player - You've been playing on SteadfastSMP regularly
Known by community - Other players recognize your name
Mature attitude - You stay calm and don't start drama
Helpful nature - You already help new players voluntarily
Good standing - No recent warnings or punishments
Discord active - Staff coordination happens in Discord

We review applications regularly. If we think you'd be a good fit, we'll reach out via Discord to chat. Not everyone is accepted immediately - sometimes we'll suggest building more community presence first. Don't take it personally; keep being helpful and reapply later.
